Sketchbook Design and Development

We were asked to create a prom dress for fashion designer named Anh Mao, We were asked to look at haute couture and pret a porter and from this i developed the idea of having ' Hipies' as my theme.

Here are selected pages out of my sketchbook that i think refelct my theme well, my theme is hippies , so ive experimented with different materials and techniques , and ive also used mixed media to show tie die and colours that fit in well with that era.
